Friday, February 22nd, 2008 Cat & Dog! I had to look twice in calendar today to convince myself that it is not Friday 13th... yes it is Friday 22nd indeed. You must be now wondering what Friday 13th has to do with my title "Cat & Dog", right? Well, here is what happened today. I went to my real estate virtual tour or panorama shoot as usually, thinking what a great day it is. I had 3 homes scheduled to shoot. I was just coming to my second home in Ajax thinking that the owner will not be home since they gave me lock box code. I do prefer when the owner is home. I was just about to unlock the door when a lady opened up. She explained that she wasn't supposed to be home but she forgot something so she returned. I was happy.... until..... I finished interior and I was ready to go to the back yard. It is winter so everything was frozen and there was fresh snow on the ground. The owner quickly told me that there is a German Sheppard in the back yard. He is young, only 7 months but not trained, adult size and out of control. So I asked her if she could hold him as I am taking shots. She got outside and grabbed the dog. I got outside on the high staircase where she was standing with him as well. He started going nuts, jumping everywhere and she had a really hard time to hold him. So I moved little bit to the right and there he jumped on me. I did one step on the stairs and as there was ice and snow over it, of course I slipped.
Some of you might know that my last name Micka means "kitten". I guess the dog doesn't like cats too much.... or does he? How am I doing now? It is the evening, I am sitting down because all I can do is jump around on one leg. I really hope I will feel better in 2 days. I am shooting more homes on Monday.... NO DOGS please this time! |
