The Old Mill Wedding. Who wouldn’t know the Old Mill. This place is an absolute playground for experienced photographer. Why do I say experienced? Outdoor is beautiful and quite easy, but indoors is a bit dark and to get wonderful shots, you must know your lighting extremely well. I remember when I was starting out, this place was a bit challenging. Today, I know this place upside down, know my favorite and really cool spots and don’t get surprised by pitch black chapel. I am loving this place. I honestly don’t know how many weddings I already photographed there. It seems to me like I was there just yesterday.
Let’s meet Thea & Dovreshin. This couple had this ‘royal’ feel to them. Very upscale, knew how to carry themselves and express their thoughts. Thea reminded me princess from movie “Coming to America” with Eddie Murphy. She looks beautiful in photos, but she is even more beautiful in person. Dovreshin surprised me with his humour. I saw him more as the reserved man, more serious type. Well, was I ever wrong. He was full of surprises.
Their morning started in the Old Mill Toronto where they were getting ready. Their ceremony took place in stunning St. Basil’s Church in downtown Toronto. I loved the architecture of this Church. Light and airy with beautiful natural light. The rest of the day was happening in the Old Mill again. Take a look how much fun this couple truly had.
